Tony Manninen is a game designer, researcher and teacher. He is leading the LudoCraft Game Design and Research Unit in the University of Oulu. His research interests include issues related to interaction forms in multiplayer games. He has designed several experimental games and has published game related papers in academic forums, as well as, game reviews and game related articles in popular media. The title of his PhD? thesis is "Rich Interaction Model for Game and Virtual Environment Design". His main areas of competencies are production, design and research within the area of multi-player games.
LudoCraft has recently published AirBuccaneers game (mod for UT2003). More information can be found from: http://ludocraft.oulu.fi/airbuccaneers . In addition to this the unit has knowledge and experience from various areas of game design and development.
